Mauricio Osorio & Claudia Marsiglia

Co-Founders · 3rd Generation

The architects of Osotur as it exists today. Mauricio and Claudia built the European routes and launched the Eurotrip program — a journey that goes far beyond sightseeing. Under their guidance, young travelers grow discipline, build friendships that last a lifetime, learn to navigate the world independently, and come home more confident, more connected, and more ready for what's next. That's the legacy they maintain — not just travel, but transformation.

Three promises. Every trip.

Your safety is non-negotiable.

Every route is pre-scouted. Every accommodation vetted. Every guide certified. Whether you're on a Caribbean catamaran or deep in the Amazon, our on-the-ground team is always a call away. We've done the homework — you just show up.

Premium without pretension.

Boutique lodges, private catamarans, curated meals, flexible dates — without the unnecessary formality. We believe premium travel is about access and quality, not dress codes. Every package is designed to feel elevated, effortless, and completely worth it.

Local knowledge you can't Google.

We're Colombian. These are our beaches, our jungles, our carnivals, our coffee farms. We know the hidden coves, the best season for whale watching in Nuquí, the family-run farms in Salento that don't appear on any list. That's what you're getting when you travel with us.

Colombia, handled.

Traveling to a country you've never been to shouldn't feel risky. Everything you need — from the airport pickup to the emergency line — is built into every Osotur trip.

ANATO Certified & Legally Registered

We're a legally registered tour operator in Colombia (RNT #117980) and members of ANATO — Colombia's official travel agency association. Your trip is backed by real legal structure, not a freelance operation.

24/7 On-the-Ground Support

While you're in Colombia, you have a direct WhatsApp line to the Osotur team — day or night. Medical emergency, lost passport, last-minute change — someone real picks up every time.

Bilingual Guides (EN & ES)

Every Osotur guide speaks fluent English and Spanish. No language barrier, no translation app, no awkward gestures — just clear, confident communication from arrival to departure.

Secure Payments via PayPal

Your deposit and balance are processed through PayPal — meaning buyer protection, traceable transactions, and zero need to wire money to a stranger. Pay with any major credit card, no PayPal account required.

Vetted Accommodations

Every hotel, lodge and boutique property on our trips has been personally inspected by the Osotur team. No surprise downgrades, no sketchy places — only spots we'd send our own family to.

Four Generations of Trust

Osotur isn't a startup — it's a family business running since the 1960s. When something goes wrong (rarely), there's decades of institutional knowledge behind solving it. That's worth more than any guarantee.

From travelers who've done it.

Real notes from travelers who flew into Colombia knowing nothing and left telling everyone.

★★★★★

“We almost booked a resort in Cancun instead. Thank god we didn't. San Andrés was unreal, and the Tewimake lodge on the river felt like another planet. Osotur handled everything — we just showed up and lived.”

★★★★★

“I've traveled a lot but never felt this looked after. The WhatsApp group, the hotel choices, the little details — they knew the country like it was their backyard. Because it literally is. Hotel Las Islas was the highlight of my year.”

★★★★★

“My friends and I wanted something different for our trip together. The coffee region was perfect — hikes through wax palms, incredible food, and a boutique hotel we never wanted to leave. Already planning the next one with Osotur.”

What travelers want to know.

Straight answers. No fluff.

Is Colombia safe for international travelers?
Colombia in 2026 is not the Colombia of the headlines from 25 years ago. Millions of tourists visit every year — Cartagena, Medellín, the Coffee Region, and the Caribbean coast are among the most visited destinations in Latin America. That said, every Osotur itinerary is designed around routes we know intimately, with private transportation, vetted accommodations, and a 24/7 support line. You'll never be figuring it out alone.
What happens if there's a medical emergency or something goes wrong?
You have a direct WhatsApp line to the Osotur team, 24/7, for the entire duration of your trip. We have hospital contacts in every city on our itineraries, pre-approved private clinics when possible, and can coordinate with your travel insurance provider. For anything beyond medical, we handle it: lost passport, missed flight, stolen wallet, sudden itinerary change — real people, real solutions, in real time.
Do your guides actually speak English?
Yes. Fluently. Every guide we send on international-facing trips is fully bilingual. No broken English, no translation apps. You'll be able to ask questions, make jokes, get recommendations, and connect with the culture without language getting in the way.
Is travel insurance included? Do I need my own?
We strongly recommend travel insurance with medical and trip cancellation coverage, purchased from your home country — World Nomads, SafetyWing, and Allianz all work well for Colombia. It's not included in the package price because coverage requirements vary by country, but we're happy to recommend trusted providers. A medical emergency abroad without insurance can be expensive — please don't skip this.
How does payment work? Is it safe?
All payments go through PayPal — which means buyer protection, traceable transactions, and any major credit card works (no PayPal account needed). You secure your spot with a $500 USD deposit. The remaining balance is due 30 days before departure. No wires to strangers, no Venmo, no crypto. Fully documented, fully protected.
Can I customize my itinerary?
Absolutely. Our standard packages are our most-booked routes, but we build custom trips all the time — honeymoons, family trips, extended stays, combining destinations. Message us on WhatsApp with what you're thinking and we'll build something around it.
What's the cancellation policy?
Your $500 deposit is refundable up to 60 days before departure. Within 60 days, the deposit becomes non-refundable but can be credited toward a future trip within 12 months. Within 30 days, the full balance is due and cancellations follow standard industry policy. Full terms are shared at booking — this is why we recommend trip cancellation insurance.
